Our event location look like that : 784 MYSTREET MYSTREETTYPE MYCITY,102: @OWNERNAME

Where 102 is the appartment number

On MPS, into event search, I can type the address 784 MYSTREET MYSTREETTYPE MYCITY then click on verify button.

It will bring back 784 MYSTREET MYSTREETTYPE MYCITY: @OWNERNAME

then If I execute it, it will retreive all records that matches exactly the address

Impossible to get records that have been created with an appartement number.

Any idea? (except asking dispatchers to enter appartment number in another field)

In the same way, how do I, with MPS, search for events on a specific street.

For example, I want to know what were the event, for the last month, on MYSTREET? (no matter what was the civic number and no matter if it was an event for a specific address or for a cross street event)

I believe an LOI Search (Location of Interest) will search an area surrounding a specific address. It may not search a whole street, but will do a portion of it. The MPS/Informer Help don't say a lot about it, but you may look into Informer configuration to learn more.

Thanks Chip

If LOI search means the same thing with what we call in french "Info-Lieu" (pretty sure it's the same), our MPS config requires to enter a valid and verified address like the event search.

And, for the moment, into our test environment, I've put in place a simple solution but it requires code change.

I've modify the mobile side by removing the fact that user is forced to verify the address (just put comments on few lines into an HTML file)

And on server side, I've modify eventquery.asp and replace "=" by "like" in the select string for the elocation field.

It then works perfectly and gives user a lot of flexibility.

But it requires code changes...
