Hi:
We are currently running a pilot project in Winnipeg using Mobile Responder and other smartphone apps.
We have some Cases filed with Support that we aren't getting much traction on.
If you have similar issues please be sure to file a case if it is important to you as we will only get the fixes/enhancements if they hear from enough customers.
Our biggest priority is a "Change Location" function (with LOI) just like MPS.
Mobile Responder Cases (SRs):
P2:
- No Change Location Functionality
- Officer safety issue when leaving event location for investigation purposes etc.
- LOI
- Open Street Map Tiles Not Downloading on ios phones
P3:
- Compose Message
- Error on when attempting Terminal Seacrh
P4:
- Unable to copy and paste to and from clipboard
- This is especially important between different apps.
- Eg: Note taking apps.
- "UseMapLegendTableAsMapSource" Set to "true"
- ArcGis is not supported
- Add Event Comments form is not modal
- Add comments form will close if you inadvertently touch another area of the screen causing you to lose the comments you were typing.
- Clicking on Notification does not direct you to reason for notification.
- Eg: If you get an Event Updated notification, clicking it does not take you to the event. This is the same with a new message etc.
- No Notification Indicator (Red Eye) on Bolo Icon for Unread Bolos
- Should be similar to new messages icon
- Request Ability to Add Attachments to Bolos.
- Subject/Vehicle images etc.
- Similar to adding attachment to message/event
- Unit Properties - Add Person
- No ability to add your partner to your unit.
- Lists (Event Type, Device)
- Make lists into a "start typing ... filtered lookup list" or fast "spinner"
- Rather than having to scroll through 1000 radios in an option list dropdown
