I/Mobile Data Terminal (I/MDT)

The I/Mobile Data Terminal (I/MDT) interface sends and receives messages from a message switch connected to the local area network (LAN) or a RS-232 communication port such as the I/Mobile product. The message switch connects to the radio network controller to complete the communication between the dispatch environment and the vehicle-based mobile data terminals (MDTs). I/MDT can review and update event, crew, personnel, and equipment information maintained in the dispatch environment.
