Reading in XML file via File Reader?

I'm using EF 6.05 and the File Reader has a File Type of "XML" that I presume can be used to read in an external XML file from the file system but I haven't been able to get it to work. Can I read XML directly into a Series or do I have to perform additional steps?

Take a look at the ZIP file I've attached that has 6 parts. If you follow this example, you'll have a series reading in XML data in no time! Good luck, let me know if you run into any problems.
