ISM Redundancy - Peered Services

Hi:

I would like to get an idea of which ISM services on the communication/interface server that agencies have a redundant peer for on a second server. MDTSVR, ANI/ALI, INFORMERSERVER etc.

Please note the reason for the peer, (eg: Load balancing; soft failover; Disaster Recovery) and any recommendations, suggestions that you have.

Hi Brett,

Halton only has the *free* applications peered:

1. Recommend Unit

2. Aniali via Bell's AQS/Edge Frontier interface

3. ChangePublisher

They are peered for failover.

By "free" do you mean that peering other licensed services would incur a cost for the second intance?

Hxgn used to have a reduced license for a hot standby. Not sure if they still do. Seems like it was 50%?
