We get this error ( See Picture ) " a socket operation was attempted to an unreachable network An unhandled exception occurred , and the application is terminating"

Then once the error is exited out it closes down MPS. Did or does anyone have this issue and if so how did you fix it?

Thanks

Hi Jason,

I have not seen that exact error before, but I have a theory. I'm guessing that in the mobileWsgSettings.xml there is NIC or IP mask specified, and the software can't find it. If this is the case, it would most likely be caused by a VPN or other virtual adapter that went missing, perhaps due to a dropped connection or maybe the VPN tunnel dropped and had to be rebuilt. This is mostly speculation though, to get a better analysis I would recommend updating your post with the version of MPS and attaching a trace log, mdtUdp log, and maybe even a ueDeltaUdp log file for the time the error occurred.

That actually makes sense, it seems to happen when they restart the vehicles the MCT or some call them MDTs lose power for a tenth of a second which causes the MCT to lose its LAN connection through the dock. We connected the MCT to the MG90 wirelessly also which prevented the error so your info makes complete sense.

Thanks, I will take a look at the logs. Appreciate the help..
