User Customization in Gdesigner disappears.

It happens more frequent now than with earlier versions of GDesigner.

For some of the users it happens every day. Then they need to recreate their favorite buttons/shortcuts etc. to be able to have an effective workflow.

Do other users experience the same “development” in the behavior within GDesigner?

Good afternoon - I think i understand the question and here at SMUD users only lose their configuration if they remove their registry settings under the HKEY_CU for Intergraph. We've had to in the past delete this folder to clear some "stuck" error with workspace, user or pc & in doing, the user also loses any customization of the hot keys or docked toolbars. You might want to check if the user has permission to save to their registry folder. That would explain why it is gone the next day.

OK - thanks. I'll double-check that - but usually you do have write-access to our own HKEY_CURRENT_USER-part of the registry.

If this is a virtualized environment, you might want to check with system admins if the registry is not cleaned on a regular basis. We have seen in the past by our customers where they maintain/clean sessions/environments/VM's and users are moving along VM nodes.
