We have a separate system that sends email alarms when assets meet certain conditions. I would like to include a link in that email that will allow the reader to quickly navigate to the feature in Networks Essential.

You should build boundingbox around that feature and pass it (BBOX=-9176876.740584,3247656.457329,-9176800.303556,3247732.894357) in the below link.

Optionally, as stated, you can use the WMS to generate a map snapshot image.
