Oracle Knowledge Information Manager http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss <![CDATA[Prevent entering of info in Event information on cancelled call]]> The Dispatcher Event Information screen will continue to allow users to enter as much information as they want into the cancelled call. We would like to prevent this from happening.

 

Example:

We have users who will create event (0093) which is duplicated and cancelled into another (0092) and the operator taking the second call is still putting supplemental information in, the primary call doesn't receive any of that info. The only way you can see what was typed into the second call post-dup/cancel is to DEV or MEV the event.

 

It was mentioned to me that there is a parameter that will lock out an event that someone has selected when it cancels. Does anyone know the Parameter Name in General Details?

 

Please let me know if you have encountered this and how you have resolve it in your agency.
