Has anybody documented how to complete a map roll with the intergraph tools?

I'm familiar with some of the steps and where to execute them (and how to recover in the event of disaster), but I've not tried a map rool yet, and I would like to see how others are doing them.

Documentation .. pictures ... your insight to the process ... would be appreciated.

It sounds like your issue is similar to one that I encountered.  Are you using GM 2014?  I'm not sure if you have the same setup, but I have GeoLabel Pro as an add-in product to generate annotation layers for the street labels.  The street labels looked fine in GM but after publishing the map, the labels in the .map file were the wrong size and color.  While Intergraph told me that there was one setting that needed to be changed in the computer's System Registry, I found that there is a second one that also needs to be changed.  Both need to be updated for each user.  I've attached a document with the instructions for making these updates.  I'm not sure if this will resolve your problem, but thought the information might be helpful to someone.

We are still on 6.1 which we've been on since 2012 when we upgraded to 9.1.1.  There were so many issues that we didn't want to upgrade until we had them all cleaned up and we're still holding. My GIS department doesn't even want to do an map roll any more.
