HxGN OnCall Dispatch - Scheduling & Facilities Management
HxGN OnCall Dispatch - Scheduling & Facilities Management provides the ability to define a transporting unit, recommend a facility such as a hospital, and manage the status of a facility.
HxGN OnCall Dispatch – Scheduling & Facilities Management provides the following:
· Ability to place a unit in transport and run a facility recommendation in which the system determines the ideal facility location (such as a hospital emergency room) based on the cost (distance or time), the service needed (such as cardiac), and whether the service is diverted or not.
· Provided advance capabilities that allow staff at the facilities the ability to run and review facility recommendations so that they can give advice to dispatchers.
· Ability to define and manage the status of a facility. Facilities, such as hospitals or jails, can encounter certain conditions that restrict their ability to receive any more persons, such as patients. For example, if a cardiac center for a hospital is full, the hospital's cardiac center entrance can be put into a diverted status to indicate to EMS that a different hospital would be more ideal.
Facility diversions are maintained per service per entrance to allow for specific services of the facility to be diverted while maintaining an open status for another service. Facility diversions can be set up, updated, cleared, and monitored.
