We're in the middle of an upgrade 10.1 to 10.3 and a simultaneous upgrade to Windows 10 (from 7).
One of our users has an issue with the scaling on Windows 10:
"On my old Windows 7 PC and GT 10.1 I ran with Windows display settings at 125% without issue on any application. On my new Windows 10 PC I am have encountered a number of issues with enlarged display settings.
If I use the scaling method of Right click desktop > Display Settings > slide to 125% all kinds of applications have issues. Some are out of focus, some have graphics artifacts or other graphics issues. GT 10.3 won’t respect the 125% instead displaying at 100% and I cannot work on it at 100% more than briefly.
IT have suggested the alternative scaling method of Right click desktop > Advanced Display Settings > Advanced sizing of text and other items > Custom sizing.
So far this has worked perfectly for all applications at 125% except for GTech. For the most part GTech is OK, but when displaying some dialogues, the content is clipped making it rather difficult to use (see attached image)"
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and whether they found a resolution.
We have not seen this issue, but we are 10.2.3 and Windows 7. We will be upgrading to Windows 10 in the near future. Please share the good, the bad, and the ugly with G/Tech and Windows 10. Good luck with you issue. -Bob Moore
