SQL Server 2012 AlwaysOn 2 windows clusters

Hi all,

I need help, I try configure SQL Server 2012 in mode AlwaysOn and Intergraph Documentation said that all nodes of SQL Server must be in the same cluster.

My problem is, our client has 2 sql vlan’s geographically separated and indicates that it is not possible to create a single cluster with machines these two vlan’s to install the SQL Server 2012,

Anybody already configured SQL Server in mode always in two windows clusters ?

Anyone know how I can set the SQL Server in mode always for CAD 9.3.3 work with two windows clusters ?

Hi Paulo - 

You cannot spread the CAD databases out amongst two different windows clusters.  All replicas in a given AvailabilityGroup must be in the same Windows Cluster and on the same Windows Domain. The machines do not have to be on the same VLAN however, you can certainly put them on different networks, as long as they are on the same domain and in the same cluster.  

Is there a topology issue preventing them from allowing the cluster creation across the two VLANS?
