Hi All

Just wondering if anyone is on I/CAD version 9.3 MR 5 and using Citrix 7.6 for client virtualisation or have upgraded Citrix 7.6 LTSR to any later LTSR versions - 7.15 LTSR / 1919 LTSR version in their environment and could share their experience.

Thanks!

Hi, is it possible to define a macro syntax and concatenate fields or variables?

For example, imagine we have PDF documents somewhere into our RMS system where documents name are based on event number. For example, document P123456.PDF is a document that contain data about event #123456

I wish to give users a way to open that document with a macro command when the event is displayed into IDispatcher

Is it possible to create a macro the will looks like EXEC "C;\blabla blabla\AcroRdr.exe" "W:\eventdata\"$E".PDF"

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to "count" within an event by event type.

Example: K9 unit sweeps 10 cars. Within that event, there would be an option to record those 10 cars for that specific unit.

At the end of the day, that unit could run his history, and in the history it would say total cars:35, total trucks:12, etc.

Any ideas, or does anyone know of a way to do this within the system already? We are currently on 9.1, but should be cut over to 9.4 by October.

Hi,

we are dispatching units on a fire event and depending on few informations, we are experiencing something "wierd"

example:

unit 123 is not available (and should be recommanded if available)

So unit recommandation form will propose, for example, units 124, 206, 306, 406 for alarm level 1

Dispatcher accepts it and dispatches units

Unit 123 is now available

Fire event alarm level upgrade to 2

Dispatcher goes to unit recommandation form and see units 123, 207, 307, 905

Dispatcher accepts it and dispatches them

We now have units 124, 206, 306 406 dispatched at alarm level 1

And we have units 123, 207, 307, 905 dispatched at alarm level 2

Fire chief asks dispatcher to tell him which units have been dispatched at level 1 or 2, the easiest way to answer it is to go back to unit recommandaiton form and see them

But, if he does that, he'll see that unit 123 is at alarm level 1 and 124 is at level 2

I understand that 123 should have been dispatched in level 1 but was not avaliable

Why this form can't show real thing

How can we answer to the fire chief easily and with the good information?

Custom columns in common_event_call that have been added to the main event information dialog in Calltaker/Dispatcher are not being written to the database during event creation. In the event info dialog, if I populate data in a COTS field (e.g. common_event_call.clname) and a custom field (e.g. gender) then both fields create/update fine in the database (config records appear to be correct). However, if I populate data ONLY in a common_event_call custom field in the event info dialog then literally nothing happens, the trigger to insert a new record in common_event_call table doesn't occur. Same issue occurs for updating an existing event.

I'm running CAD 9.4 Q1 2019 and a colleague had this same issue and ended up transferring his custom common_event_call columns to the common_event table.

Good Evening,

Just started testing the GoogleMaps for CAD integration on 9.2 on a spare workstation. I know this is old and has probably been updated over the years. It seems the old GoogleMaps.HTM file that I have only has IE7 or 8 compatibility and will not load. The Google Maps for CAD console loads but no map. I simply receive 2 script erros and a notification that I am using a browser that is not supported. Is it possible that a newer GoggleMaps.htm file exists that is supported up to newer IE versions?

See attached.

In my case I have multi-unit addresses (Multiple buildings/address point) and would like to put these in numerical order by the building number. I've found within the CAD set the parameter for sorting but it only displays by mslink or muni and not by any other field and when I enabled sort within Edit_MCF nothing changed on deployment and if you modify within the Dialog for Visual Studio the application crashes when attempting to perform the verification.
DBVHACONN.TXT out of sync between App servers

http://support.hexagonsafetyinfrastructure.com/infocenter/index?page=forums&topic=507203606a43876e015c30b2b430007c5c&actp=RSS

We found an issue in one of our internal environments after one of our developers was testing token authentication and it failed when being sent through one server and not the other. We found that the DBVHACONN.txt file on one App server hadnt updated in over a month the files were out of sync between the 2.

DBConfig=ACC_TestAO; Server=vacc93ptdb2; Failover Partner=vacc93ptdb3; Replica3=; Replica4=; Replica5=; LastUpdated=20170518003407UT; LastUpdatedApp=w3wp.exe; LastUpdatedConn=NUL

This was even after we deployed a new customer build on to it and rebooted the server yesterday. The other App servers DBVHACONN.txt showed a last update of this morning.

DBConfig=ACC_TestAO; Server=vacc93ptdb3; Failover Partner=vacc93ptdb2; Replica3=; Replica4=; Replica5=; LastUpdated=20170622091404AS; LastUpdatedApp=w3wp.exe; LastUpdatedConn=NUL

The db_config settings are identical on both servers

Replica1=vacc93ptdb3; Replica2=vacc93ptdb2; Database=cad; MssHaType=AAG

Because of the out of date file 1 server beliveved replica1 was primary while the other thought replica2 was. I renamed the file that hadnt updated to get a new one to generate and it has resolved the problem but does anyone know how this can happen? and how we make sure it doesnt happen again?

Knowing the levels of a cad file takes a long time

http://support.hexagonsafetyinfrastructure.com/infocenter/index?page=forums&topic=507202533d4c56d5015c7a0b7b7f007b73&actp=RSS

Good morning, We are using a CAD connection to load the levels of a CAD file in a combobox by "GRecordset". Our issue is this process takes a long time because the CAD file has 300.000 elements and It can not be used "DISTINCT" in the sql statement. is there other way to know the levels of a CAD file by code?

This is our code:

string[] cadFileLevels = { };

int cadFileLevelNumber = 0;

Intergraph.GeoMedia.PClient.GDatabase gDatabase = cadConnection.Database as Intergraph.GeoMedia.PClient.GDatabase;

Intergraph.GeoMedia.PClient.GRecordset gRecordset = gDatabase.OpenRecordset("SELECT ElementLevelName FROM AllElements", null, null, null, null, null);

if (gRecordset.RecordCount > 0)

{

gRecordset.MoveLast();

gRecordset.MoveFirst();

while (!gRecordset.EOF)

{

try

{

if (Array.IndexOf(cadFileLevels, gRecordset.GFields["ElementLevelName"].Value.ToString()) < 0)

{

Array.Resize<string>(ref cadFileLevels, cadFileLevels.Length + 1);

cadFileLevels[cadFileLevelNumber] = (gRecordset.GFields["ElementLevelName"].Value == DBNull.Value ? string.Empty : gRecordset.GFields["ElementLevelName"].Value.ToString());

cadFileLevelNumber++;

}

} catch { }

gRecordset.MoveNext();

}

}

Thanks.
