Just wondering if anyone is on I/CAD version 9.3 MR 5 and using Citrix 7.6 for client virtualisation or have upgraded Citrix 7.6 LTSR to any later LTSR versions - 7.15 LTSR / 1919 LTSR version in their environment and could share their experience.

For example, imagine we have PDF documents somewhere into our RMS system where documents name are based on event number. For example, document P123456.PDF is a document that contain data about event #123456

I wish to give users a way to open that document with a macro command when the event is displayed into IDispatcher

Is it possible to create a macro the will looks like EXEC "C;\blabla blabla\AcroRdr.exe" "W:\eventdata\"$E".PDF"

Is it possible the dispable button reaction when the comment arrives from a unit (MPS)?

Example: K9 unit sweeps 10 cars. Within that event, there would be an option to record those 10 cars for that specific unit. 

At the end of the day, that unit could run his history, and in the history it would say total cars:35, total trucks:12, etc. 

Any ideas, or does anyone know of a way to do this within the system already? We are currently on 9.1, but should be cut over to 9.4 by October. 

I need to know which button between "Ok" and "Dispatch only" dispatcher used to dispatch units on an event.

Is this information available thru log files?

we are dispatching units on a fire event and depending on few informations, we are experiencing something "wierd"

example:

unit 123 is not available (and should be recommanded if available)

So unit recommandation form will propose, for example, units 124, 206, 306, 406 for alarm level 1

Dispatcher accepts it and dispatches units

Unit 123 is now available

Fire event alarm level upgrade to 2

Dispatcher goes to unit recommandation form and see units 123, 207, 307, 905

Dispatcher accepts it and dispatches them

We now have units 124, 206, 306 406 dispatched at alarm level 1

And we have units 123, 207, 307, 905 dispatched at alarm level 2

Fire chief asks dispatcher to tell him which units have been dispatched at level 1 or 2, the easiest way to answer it is to go back to unit recommandaiton form and see them

But, if he does that, he'll see that unit 123 is at alarm level 1 and 124 is at level 2 

I understand that 123 should have been dispatched in level 1 but was not avaliable

Why this form can't show real thing

How can we answer to the fire chief easily and with the good information?

• Did you stage new servers? Or did you do an in place upgrade?
• Did you use imaging to create new workstations
• Were you  able to roll out the MPS update gradually or did it have to be done all at once?
• Do you have any other tips or suggestions?

But we don't want to let users click on the hyperlink (event number) because we don't want them to access details about the event.

How can we do that?

I'm running CAD 9.4 Q1 2019 and a colleague had this same issue and ended up transferring his custom common_event_call columns to the common_event table.

Will I/Map Editor for GeoMedia 16.5 ever be released? 

Just started testing the GoogleMaps for CAD integration on 9.2 on a spare workstation. I know this is old and has probably been updated over the years. It seems the old GoogleMaps.HTM file that I have only has IE7 or 8 compatibility and will not load. The Google Maps for CAD console loads but no map. I simply receive 2 script erros and a notification that I am using a browser that is not supported. Is it possible that a newer GoggleMaps.htm file exists that is supported up to newer IE versions?

Our macro is currently not working with new events that have a subtype. When copying the event, such as to CrimeScene or Transport the macro is trying to force a subtype from the original event onto the CRIMESCENE or TRANSPORT event type which doesn't exist.

Use Case: An example is that if a call (DV/IN PROGRESS) needs to be copied over to Crime Scene it will try to create an event (CRIMESCENE/IN PROGRESS) which doesn't exist and it falls back and creates a call with the original call type (DV/In PROGRESS) in a lower prirotity 8 which is for CSU. 

We need help to create a macro that will COPY the event, DV/In Progress, and not have the marco try to crate a new call that is CRIMEScene/In Progress. It should only take the Event Type and not subtype. This is a high priority due to it affecting CSU and TRU functions and our current work around does not generate necessary notifications for dispatch on their pagers or MPS units.

It IS possible to have multiple map icons for different priorities of Special Addresses using the following steps:

The customer has to have right Visual Studio version for their CAD version (9.2 uses Visual Studio 2010, 9.3 uses Visual Studio 2012, 9.3 uses Visual Studio 2015), understand how to import the png file with the right size (16x16) to the Visual Studio DefaultAddInRes project resource folder and compile to build a new defaultAddIn.resources.dll.  Next, they will have to load the new defaultAddIn.resources.dll to the database using the Configuration Files Utility in CADDBM.  Finally, they will have to reference the custom png file name to whatever Special Situation type that want to use in CADDBMàType CodesàSpecial Situation Types. 

Note:  Make sure the DefaultAddInRes project being used is the latest one that’s currently utilized in the live environment.  This should be located on the customer’s IPS share.

1. Copy png file to DefaultAddInRes.... Resources....Elements....PNG....16x16 folder
2. Open DefaultAddInRes project in Visual Studio to import file by right clicking on Resources....Add....Existing Items…
3. Click Build....Rebuild DefaultAddInRes
4. Load the new compiled DefaultAddIn.resources.dll file to the database using CADDBM....Configuration Files....set name: CAD.... <find the DefaultAddInRes record to load the new DefaultAddIn.resources.dll file and override the existing one.
5. Go to CADDBM....Type Codes....Special Situation Types to referenced the new png file name on whatever Special Situation Type you choose.

This was even after we deployed a new customer build on to it and rebooted the server yesterday.  The other App servers DBVHACONN.txt showed a last update of this morning.

Because of the out of date file 1 server beliveved replica1 was primary while the other thought replica2 was.  I renamed the file that hadnt updated to get a new one to generate and it has resolved the problem but does anyone know how this can happen?  and how we make sure it doesnt happen again?
