Issue was DB Copy Fail. Reviewed the dbcopy_dynamic log file and was able to see that the dynamic job failed to complete due to a constraint violation on the DESTINATIONS table. Repaired this issue by deleting the duplicate value in sequel server. Then ran DBRecovery and DBCOPY ran with the same result. I ran DB recovery again and this time it was the msg_num row in the MESSA table that had a duplicate value. Deleted this value ran recovery again.then DBCOPY once more. Everything ran successfully. RE-Enabled the scheduled tasks dynamic.bat & static.bat that I stopped earlier.

I would like to get an idea of which ISM services on the communication/interface server that agencies have a redundant peer for on a second server. MDTSVR, ANI/ALI, INFORMERSERVER etc.

Please note the reason for the peer, (eg: Load balancing; soft failover; Disaster Recovery) and any recommendations, suggestions that you have.

Has anyone completed an in-house CAD upgrade either themselves or with consultants other than Hexagon? We are going from version 9.2 MR5 to 9.4 with person level tracking.

If you have:

Who was the consultant?

Would you recommend them?

Would you recommend doing this type of upgrade without Hexagon?

What were your lessons leaned?

Hello,

We are running CAD 9.2 MR5 and since our upgrade last spring, we are having artifacting problems. Our hardware specs meet Intergraph's requirements. The user will see units overlapping and colors mixing on the Unit Monitor. Or see the remains of a popup window in the event Remarks window. Or when they right click on the event monitor, the bottom of the menu sometimes isn't visible and other times, when you close the menu, it leaves part of it behind on the screen. We have hundreds of examples. See the attachment for a small sample.

We have worked with HP and they cannot find any issue with the workstations or monitors.

Has anyone else experienced these issues?

Thanks,
